Sound → Storytelling

A selection of works in film scoring,
songwriting, broadcast, and sound design.

Seconds by the Soft Shore

Producer + Director + Composer + Host

A one-hour psychedelic live broadcast integrating real-time sampling, spatial audio, and pre-recorded material. Environmental and archival sounds formed evolving soundscapes, with voice performances I remotely directed embedded as narrative elements.

These are the segments I most enjoyed building

in my bedroom studio with my sound makers and voice collaborators. It was during the lockdown, so most recording sessions were held remotely.

Radio Broadcast (2021)

The narratives were improvised from a loose poem and emotional framework I shared, and reinterpreted by the guest actors. The challenge and joy was shaping those all these fragments into something whole.

Lena and the Seagull

A limited release on physical cassette under an independent label in 2018. The first in my
Sound Library series, created as an exercise in imaginative sound storytelling, inspired by the storybook cassette tapes I grew up with.

Set in a quiet seaside town, the story follows a struggling pianist who has lost her drive,
and a seagull she rescues by chance.

The work weaves composed and improvised piano fragments with archival sound into a continuous sonic story, accompanied by a booklet with my artwork to invite the listener’s imagination.

It is a story of hope and renewal, remembering what inspires you, and how small encounters with nature can quietly guide you through creative doubt.

Narrative Sound and Atmosphere (2018)

A curated selection of music made for children's television, film scoring, podcast segments, audio books, binaural compositions, and songwriting.

I compose and produce across guitar, piano,
and flute, working primarily with Ableton Live.

Thank you for listening.

Before I turned to instruments and singing to tell stories, I performed in film and theater.

I carried my voice into the studio, and soon it carried me through university. It remains something I bring into every project.
