Neurogenesis (In Development)

A cyanotype series exploring trauma, neuroplasticity, and recovery. When one sustains an external wound, say, a broken leg, there is reassurance in recovery: visual progress, measurable results, an x-ray that confirms the healing. But what about the internal wounds? The ones with no scan to show their mending? Inspired by medical brain imaging, the project presents a sequence of "brain slices" that shift over time, mapping fragmentation, recovery, rewiring, and integration. Using natural found materials, the compositions mirror neural structures while pointing to a simple truth: we are part of a system that knows how to regenerate. We are not separate from the functions of nature. This working concept hopes to grow further into applied workshops.
